Practical insight into making your video lesson for young learners
Hello again!
Today, I will share my reflection on our very last webinar about how to make video lessons. The webinar was conducted by Ms. Małgorzata Gaca.
At the beginning of this webinar, she emphasized that if we want to shoot a good lesson video, we need to prepare a well-planned and appropriate script. If we write and practice what we want to say in the video in advance, it will help us to speak fluently and stay calm.
She also mentioned the importance of checking other people's work on social media or other platforms. If you want the video to be of better quality and sequential, it may be a good idea to divide the video into parts. At the beginning of the video, you should introduce yourself. After that, you can use a small warm-up activity to make the video more interactive and interesting. However, you may change the format of the content such that it is enjoyable for youngsters. It might be a game, a quiz, or a song.
Next stage is the introduction of the lesson. This stage should be done clearly, interactive and fun.
At the end, we should briefly repeat and remind what we talked about throughout the video. We can use different visual aids to make it more memorable.
Thanks for reading my post! I would like you to share your opinion in the comment section.
